Depois de três anos, a Banda Daki deve voltar a desfilar pelas ruas de Juiz de Fora com três trios elétricos no Carnaval 2024. A informação é de bastidor e ainda não foi confirmada pela organização ou a Prefeitura.

A Banda Daki, criada por um grupo de amigos em 1972, completa 52 anos de existência neste ano e, por causa da pandemia da Covid-19, o último desfile foi em 2020. No ano ado, a Banda se concentrou no Largo do Riachuelo, mas não desfilou.

Conhecido como general da Banda Daki, Zé Kodak tinha o sonho de comemorar os 50 anos do grupo com uma grande celebração. Mas Zé se foi antes de realizar este sonho após morrer em decorrência da Covid-19 em 2021.

No mesmo ano, Nelson Jr. foi eleito presidente da Banda Daki e desde então há articulações para a volta dos desfiles da Banda. Um dos mais tradicionais blocos de Juiz de Fora se destaca com o repertório com músicas de carnavais dos anos 60, 70 e 80.
